Can I buy my panels in Spain?

I would not rely on that. This workshop method is based on the wood panels and a substitution will not work. You can choose alternate sizes. For packing purposes, the 10x10 will nestle into the 12x12, you could do 8x8 and 10x10 and some smaller 6x6. 

What is covered in the cost?

8 day, 7 nights at La Serrania retreat, Dinner on the first night, and breakfast on the last day, all other days 3 meals/ day plus wine. 5 days of painting instruction plus a group critique. One night excursion to town for dinner and shopping ( alcohol not included) 

What is La Serrania like?

The retreat centre is a 40 minute taxi ride from Palma de Mallorca Airport nestled in the mountains not far from the town of Pollensa. Spacious grounds in a stunning natural setting provide the perfect setting for this retreat. There are plenty of nooks and spaces to find quiet time in solitude as well as indoor and outdoor communal areas for gathering. The pool offers an opportunity to cool down and another vantage point for the stunning views. The rooms are bright and airy, pleasantly furnished with 2 single beds ( a few with full sized beds). All rooms have the benefit of en-suite bathrooms.

how is the food?

The food is wonderfully fresh, regional and organic. Please let me know if you have any dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate you.

What should I pack?

Double check the weather before you leave, but the temperature will range between 50-70 F. Pack some painting clothes with a sweatshirt for the chilly evenings. Meals are casual, not need to dress up. Dinner in town jeans and a nice top/sweater is fine. Definitely include a light rain jacket or umbrella. There are place to walk from La Serrania, but sturdy sneakers are fine. Don’t forget to bring a bathing suit- the pool may be a bit chilly still, but it’s beautiful!

Can I bring my partner if (he/she/they) don’t want to paint?

Possibly, if we have enough people in the workshop and if there is enough accommodations. Please contact me and I will do my best to make it work.
